Spirituality Project

This image represents an important aspect of Chinese culture. The three levels of this image, underground, the ground, and the sky represent heaven, hell and life. The three represents how they are all conected. The face in the sky is Huang Di (the Yellow Emperor). A common belief was that every family could trace their ancestry back to Huang Di.

Spirituality Project

This image was created using images from ancient Chinese paintings. This image represents the three main religions of China. The three horses running together represent Daoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism. The first Chinese character at the top means "harmony," the second one means "tao," the third one means "confucianism" and the last one means "zen."

Typography

This was created originally from my typography project which was created in the shape of a heart with words meaning "love" in over 40 languages. When I finished creating the image I decided to turn it into an e-card by animating it and adding music.

e-card

This is an idea for an e-card made using photoshop animation. The theme of the e-card is love, and using images from the web I created my own background and used quotes about love from famous people. To make it a bit more interesting I added animation to the butterfly.

The assignment for this project was to combine two or more animals together to create an entirely new animal using Photoshop. I chose to merge the head of a zebra with the body of a lamb.

The assignment for this project was to create a collection of stamps honoring or commemorating people, places, or an event. Each stamp had to have the qualities and appearance of a valid US postal stamp, for example the 37 cents and the text USA had to be on each stamp. Using Photoshop I created 6 commemorative stamps honoring 6 of the American 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic gold medalists - Lindsey Vonn, Shani Davis, Evan Lysacek, Steven Holcomb's "Night Train" bobsled team, Bode Miller, and Bill Demong.
